# Dual Sliding Curtains Updated: 2022-05-13 These curtains (also known as 'traveller curtains') open by sliding to the side of the stage. ## Size and Position Each curtain link must be exactly the same size. Once configured the script will enforce that as it opens and closes by resizing the prims. 1. Rez the curtains on the stage and fit to the opening while closed. Note that the curtain prims are oriented so the control arrows are at the outside edges. These should be at or just past the edge of your stage opening. 2. When they are set, click on the curtain and click 'Config', then click 'Size'. The closed_size will be shown in nearby chat. Copy that into the notecard, replacing the existing closed_size line. 3. Click on the curtain and click 'Open'. The curtains will slide open until they are about 0.5m wide at the edges. Make any adjustments to the size they should be when open, then click on the curtain and click 'Config', then click 'Size'. The open_size will be shown in nearby chat. Copy that into the notecard, replacing the existing open_size line. 4. Add anyone that you want to be able to operate the curtain without having their group set to the notecard on lines beginning with 'allow='. You may use their key (aka UUID) or login name (like 'tomjs'). 5. The remainder of the configuration should be pre-set. Change the channel number as required. ## Commands The commands that may be sent to the curtain on the configured channel are: * reset - Reset the curtain to its configured closed state * close - Close the curtain * open - Open the curtain -- Layne Thomas laynethomas@avimail.org
